WHAT WE OFFER
Meals,
spiritual direction, and an opportunity to experience silence in a new
way. Learn to listen and respond through art, journal keeping, walking the
labyrinth, and spiritual reading. Browse the St Barnabas library. Commune
with nature - allow it to enfold you - from the first lights of a desert
sunrise to evenings of clear star-fields showing against a dark and silent
backdrop
SCHEDULED PRAYER
The
Church is open during your stay. Evensong is every Wednesday at 4 pm.
WEATHER
The
season begins in late October and runs into May. Temperatures during these
months (daytime 60-80, nighttime 40-60) are most agreeable.
COMMUNITY SERVICES
Massage,
yoga and medical services are available.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Clean,
simple motels with swimming pools are within walking distance to St.
Barnabas. Deluxe accommodations, camping
and RV spaces are also available.

God. Suggested donation: $95.00
**Wellness / Wholeness - Silence, prayer and spiritual direction
coupled with hikes, cycling, reading and other activities that help you
regain wholeness. Suggested donation: $145.00
PRIVATE AND DIRECTED RETREATS
If you
wish space and time to reflect, read, pray and rest without a specific
program, you may want to choose a private retreat. For a directed retreat,
you will meet each day with a spiritual director. Church library, prayer
services, and limited kitchen facility are available. Duration of these
retreats is arranged when making reservations.
RETREAT DEPOSITS & PAYMENT POLICIES
Retreat
reservations are made with a deposit of $50.00. This is refundable if
the cancellation is made 30 days or more prior to your retreat. We will
confirm your reservation in writing. In case you cancel within the 30
days and you wish to reschedule your retreat, $25.00 of your deposit will
be applied to the new dates.
